“Castle views, evening drinks ritual”
The Resident Edinburgh is a sparkling 2024 four-star — spotless sensibly laid-out rooms with kitchenettes, Nespresso machines, microwaves and fridges; corner rooms frame Edinburgh Castle. Touches delight: complimentary drinks and snacks five to six each evening, a handwritten welcome-back card, a deactivated key that kept local restaurant discounts alive, and luggage whisked up once rooms readied. One departure-day check found a previous guest's t-shirt and plastic bits left behind — they followed up well on cleaning feedback.
