“Knipoch House's Oban stay”
Knipoch House Hotel is a beautiful cozy property in a wonderful quiet just-outside-Oban location useful on the way to Skye — clean well-decorated (smaller-than-expected) rooms with comfortable beds, a good evening meal and well-stocked bar, and so-nice accommodating staff who made sandwiches for a late hungry flight-delayed arrival. Caveats though: breakfast lacked bread or lactose-free alternatives despite notes at booking and check-in; and one guest felt every extra costs — the hot tub charges per person per half-hour, advertised laundry was absent, and drawing-room cake landed on the bill.
