“The Upper House's gardens”
The Upper House is a charming country house — comfortable rooms (one with a balcony, high ceilings in another), beautiful grounds and pretty gardens, an excellent cooked-to-order breakfast, recommended evening meals, easy free parking, brilliantly placed for the Potteries with ceramics shops nearby, and amazing helpful staff. Notes: a standard room was not accessible so check at booking, and a room over the function suite heard noise until midnight before a great sleep.
