San Giorgio Palace Hotel Ragusa Ibla is a very clean friendly stay — a small hotel with a direct elevator into town, a short climb to the San Giorgio cathedral and a little sightseeing train to the other churches, a terrace overlooking a corner of town, easy street parking below, a delicious excellent breakfast, clean comfortable quiet rooms a short walk from the main streets, and incredibly-helpful staff who sorted out routes and parking; a returning guest came back for the same views and the same hotel. Caveats though: facilities are average, big luggage means a twenty-metre slope plus a long corridor, and it suits shorter stays.
