“Hotel di Varese's station ease”
Hotel di Varese is a stylishly-converted friendly hotel near the station and restaurants — quiet clean well-equipped comfortable rooms, free wifi and air conditioning, a good plentiful buffet breakfast (though it cannot be taken to the attractive terrace), and superbly-professional helpful staff who assisted with reservations and sightseeing advice. Caveats though: the city itself underwhelmed one visitor.
