Home2 Suites by Hilton Winter Garden is a neat, clean and good-smelling family favourite outside the Orlando bubble — quiet top-floor two-queen suites with sofa bed and kitchenette, pet-friendly, all-day coffee and water, a great breakfast kids call the best part, and a resident alligator named Winter in the back pond. Real issues arose, though: a broken bathroom door forced a room move, a thermostat without a constant-fan option left one room freezing or sweating, night-time light bleed was heavy, beds struck a guest as extremely uncomfortable, and an extra night was billed higher than the original rate.
