“Big Bear's s'mores”
Home2 Suites by Hilton Big Bear Lake is a really nice new stay — a year-old clean hotel loved by kids, spacious nicely-laid-out rooms, a comfy-seated lobby with an outdoor fire pit, a convenient breakfast bar with waffles, eggs, bread and good coffee, a nice pool and jacuzzi, nightly s'mores as a fun touch, and secure parking near the summit junction. Caveats though: parking carries a nightly charge, one stay needed platform compensation for an inconvenience, and a chipped cup posed a small injury risk.
