“Hampton Bakersfield's secure lot”

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Bakersfield Central is a new clean hotel just off the highway — a good breakfast (scrambled, bacon, oatmeal, two waffle kinds), 24-hour lobby tea and coffee, a self-waffle station, and gated key-access parking (useful given a questionable block where one guest was approached at a nearby pump). Flagged though: poor sound insulation, a self-flushing toilet, a loud AC unit, DMV-style desk manners once, a faint sour renovation smell, and daily-changing windshield parking tickets.

Rooms: Clean rooms; a loud AC once though.
Service: Friendly mostly; DMV desk once though.
Location: Off the highway; a rough block though.
Food: A good breakfast with waffles here.
Facilities: Gated, secure parking for the guests.
Noise: Poor sound insulation for one guest.
Value: Worth the money for guests here.
