Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport is a hospitable clean hotel outside downtown — spacious rooms with super comfortable beds, a nice pool, a good breakfast selection, a no-rush late checkout, and super nice staff who treated one dog like family; Sherry resolved a two-bedroom mixup with a free extra room. Caveats though: one confirmed paid upgrade was never entered — seven people landed in a six-max room that smelled off after a day out.
