“Amarillo's quiet high floor”
Hyatt Place Amarillo West is a very good passing-through stay — a relatively-new clean hotel with big spacious rooms, many nearby restaurants some walkable, friendly helpful staff, a nice quiet top-floor room, and beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Caveats though: the front desk initially tried charging for an included breakfast until the app booking was shown, the AC was a little loud, housekeeping could be more thorough, and a twelve-thirty a.m. fire alarm stopped just as the family got dressed — better safe than sorry.
