“Gran Via's brunch”
Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid is an excellent exceeded-expectations stay — a superb Gran Via location one guest compares to Beijing's Sanlitun for bustle, malls and restaurants at the door, walkable to Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and the cathedral, a decade-old but well-maintained building with a big clean room, warm kind helpful staff who smooth check-in, solid security management, and a breakfast — buffet plus à la carte — guests say beats outside brunch by miles; great for a family citywalk trip. Caveats though: a bit of street noise, nothing bad.
