Thompson Savannah, Part of Hyatt is an amazing cool stay for many — arguably the newest hotel in town at the end of River Street, very clean comfortable rooms, a smart suite layout with bathroom access from living room and bedroom, a café and rooftop bar on site, convenient parking downstairs, quiet modern surroundings, and river watching a favourite. Caveats though: a thumb-size cockroach appeared in a premium studio on a business trip, no one answers the front-desk phone, there is no on-site parking so nearby public or street spaces cost extra, the many light switches confuse, the tub sits inside the shower, and downtown is a drive away.
