Perched mid-hill with one of the most beautiful city views guests have seen, Grand Hyatt Seoul is a relaxing-vacation stay: an excellent pool and plentiful breakfast, great staff, a five-star gym and decent room service. A severe dissent though: beyond the views all ordinary — a tiny room, worn hardware, no smart toilet, a curtained shower, bottled water and slippers by request only, weekend crowds, average-quality breakfast variety and an awkward hilltop location handy only for Hannam — a definite non-return.
