Grand Hyatt Singapore is a nice very good stay for most — a very convenient location surrounded by shopping and restaurants, a spacious clean room with a comfortable bed, good service, really good in-room dining and hygiene, complete gym facilities, and a delicious breakfast in many styles. Caveats though: a severe dissent reports a room that smelled strongly of mustiness and stale smoke — too tired to switch at a late hour, the guest found all their clothes and even their suitcase carried the smell afterward — and a view that disappointed for the rate; two housekeeping ladies were praised as quick and clean; and a separate guest found a concierge rude, unwilling to answer questions or even look at them.
