Hyatt Regency Cairo West is a super clean, luxurious hotel in a quiet new district — about 11km from the pyramids (though the Pyramid View is obstructed by power lines), a stunning clean pool, an excellent varied breakfast from proteins to French pastries, excellent rooms, the fastest laundry service, attentive always-smiling housekeeping, and exceptional service. Two complaints: a promised birthday cake never arrived, a hotel taxi was needed when Uber would not come (and the driver took a wrong turn), and a large sports TV on the patio ruined one dinner.
