“Hyatt Regency Suzhou's metro perch”

Hyatt Regency Suzhou sits directly opposite a metro exit two stops from the SIP rail station, surrounded by malls — big comfortable suites with desks, walk-in closets and free minibar drinks, an executive lounge with a simple-but-tasty breakfast and a slim happy hour, and incredibly attentive staff (butler Sasa and guest-relations Julie praised). A long dissent though: a pre-booked birthday setup was noted wrongly and skipped, a key card proved demagnetized and previously issued to another room, the pool floor ran dirty and cool, hot water took ages, and one room smelled heavily of mold.

Rooms: Big suites; a mold smell once though.
Service: Attentive mostly; a noted lapse once.
Location: Opposite the metro, near the station.
Food: Tasty lounge breakfast; slim happy hour.
Facilities: A pool; a dirty floor once though.
Value: Great promo value for the guests.
