“Zoo-side Berlin stay”
Near Berlin Zoo, InterContinental Berlin is a wonderful great-experience stay for most: the best services and customer service, a nice spa, a very clean room in great condition, excellent soundproofing with no neighbour noise, kind professional staff and the best value-for-money business room one guest has had. Serious complaints though: one room arrived with a limescale-and-stain-caked broken coffee machine — a promised swap never came — scaled bath fittings, a cherry pit in a chair seam, a roof-level view sold as garden or city, damp sheets and floppy pillows, and breakfast variety runs single-note.
