InterContinental Brisbane is a peaceful polished stay for many — a friendly polite team, thorough daily room cleaning, attentive service, a great sense of design, larger rooms with beds big enough for co-sleeping kids, and a quite good central shopping location near the station. Caveats though: a dissent found garbage under the sofa and hair left in the bath with so-so cleaning, and the early-eighties building's facilities feel distinctly dated despite the convenient spot.
