“Hotel Indigo Suzhou's sky lobby”
Hotel Indigo Suzhou Grand Canal by IHG is a surprisingly-good-value design hotel atop a mall — clean quality high-floor rooms with Jiangnan water-town styling, excellent soundproofing for sensitive sleepers, wide views from the 46th-floor lobby, one-stop dining and shopping downstairs, near the sights, and efficient all-answers staff; Amanda, Cici, Cathy, and Jessie drew praise. Caveats though: drivers face a convoluted path — basement parking, a mall crossing, then two lift changes — awkward with luggage.
