“Seventy Barcelona's stylish stay, one fiasco”
Seventy Barcelona is a beautiful, new-design Barcelona hotel — a convenient spot fifteen minutes from the Sagrada Família and Gaudí houses amid restaurants and bars, large rooms with pillow menus and big beds, free bottled water, a nice pool and courtyard garden, a good varied breakfast, slippers and toothbrushes supplied, and friendly staff; it's strong value among European tourist cities. One severe stay, though: a 10pm arrival found a prior guest's hanger on the wall art, a dead bathroom light, all sockets dead, and a curtain that wouldn't close — after thirty minutes' silence and no spare room, they were told to make do overnight.
