“Sunstar Grindelwald's Eiger views”
Sunstar Hotel & Spa Grindelwald sits opposite the First cable-car station facing the peaks — huge suites with unbeatable Eiger-facing balconies, a welcome prosecco, a rich breakfast, free daily minibar drinks, a comfortable pool, a handy station shuttle (a driver even rescued guests in a downpour), and warm staff with early check-in. Caveats though: no air conditioning made hot evenings and cold ten-degree mornings swingy, and one guest judged service and the ordinary chaotic breakfast unworthy of the rate.
