“Becquer's warm Seville welcome”
Hotel Bécquer is a lovely most-satisfying stay — an established Seville hotel at the old-town edge with a great brilliant central location, a very clean tidy room, brief stopping space at the door, an awesome breakfast plus a good buffet and afternoon tea, a warm smiling welcome, a pool offering a beautiful city view and a cool-down from summer heat, a local charity the hotel supports — guests received its soap and nuts — and professional staff; one traveler's best stay of a Spain-and-Portugal trip. Caveats though: breakfast value felt average to one guest, and an early booker felt stung when unsold rooms dropped in rate later.
