The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket is a satisfied top-Phuket stay for seclusion seekers — reached by dedicated speedboat to a quiet island of few people, beautiful nature and high-end design; a kneeling welcome introduction at check-in, a one-to-one butler answering everything enthusiastically, a beautiful sea-view room, several tasty restaurants, and a verdict of better than a prior Surin stay. Caveats though: prepare for everything being inconvenient off-island; dinner is not inexpensive, and one guest was surprised when an agreed in-room breakfast arrived with a card terminal and a charge.
