“Hay-Adams' classic perch”
The Hay - Adams is a top-notch wonderful five-star stay — a very nice hotel and room in old American style, charming and hospitable with a lack of regal lobby that actually benefits it, a great location, good professional service with real attention to detail, and everything clean; guests highly recommend and say go there. Caveats though: with Pennsylvania Avenue closed, protesters gather at the corner in front — one airport departure stalled when police shut the street as the valet brought the car.
