“Splendide Royal's split”
Hotel Splendide Royal is as splendid as the name for many — impeccable wonderful staff who greeted one party with an upgrade, an excellent beautiful position and views, exceptionally-good food and an excellent restaurant, a fantastic spa, and a delightful splendid experience in a historic luxe building. Caveats though: a severe dissent was upset by a thirty-five-franc minibar charge after checkout for drinks they insist were never consumed and could not be itemized, and another finds the rooms too old and dated to justify the four-thousand-a-night premium despite a good breakfast.
