Acqualina Resort and Residences is a beautiful, impressively clean Sunny Isles resort — comfortable high-ceilinged rooms, fantastic food, a gorgeous beach and a spa called among the best, wrapped in amazing personal-touch hospitality families describe as highest-standard. Two blemishes in an otherwise glowing set: beach and poolside service was terrible once — a guest had to get up and find staff — and the Italian restaurant struck another as costly and unremarkable. One cheeky wish: a nightly turndown chocolate would not go amiss.
