“Rittenhouse's square split”
The Rittenhouse Hotel is a nice beautiful stay with real caveats — a lovely ninth-floor room with a comfortable bed and quiet air, helpful valet parking, a great location beside relaxing Rittenhouse Square and walkable restaurants, a pretty breakfast room, and a desk so earnest it exchanged bills into every denomination laid out neatly. Caveats though: a severe dissent calls it not a five-star experience — the wrong room was given, changing it required triple-checking and an hour's wait, and restaurant and bar service ran understaffed; another found the La Croix club sandwiches made of ordinary cold cuts far from worth the tab.
