Is Beau-Rivage Palace good? Overview, pros and cons
Staylist AI overview · based on 7 public guest reviews
“Hotel Beau-Rivage's split”
Beau-Rivage Palace is a palace-level stay that splits opinion — a historic Lausanne landmark with grand elegant decor, warm professional staff, rich delicious dining, excellent restaurants, an unbeatable lake-view room, and a much-praised healthy breakfast served until eleven; many call it the city's best. Caveats though are severe: dissents report worn dirty-looking public carpets, upstairs footsteps rattling chandeliers, a paid pool lounger sprung only after guests sat down, flaky keycards, nowhere to sit at check-in amid shop adverts, a missed balcony clean and pet amenity, dusty public areas, plus one flat pan calling service, food and soundproofing poor for the rate.
