“Hôtel Royal Evian's splendour”
Hôtel Royal Evian is an elegant luxurious hotel — beautiful grounds and views, a wonderful breakfast experience, consistent very good dinners, an amazing spa with sauna, steam, cold plunge and indoor-outdoor hot tubs reached by a special elevator, a quaint quiet winter town, and out-of-the-way staff (valets and greeters praised in the heat). Flags: a cobweb in one room, an eggs-and-bacon-only breakfast for another, and a two-hundred-fifty-euro checkout overcharge to watch.
