Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort is a stunning tranquil escape fifteen minutes from the centre — breathtaking rice-field views, daily free yoga, yummy high-end vegan dining and many wellness programs at fair rates. Ever-helpful staff speak excellent English and service rates full marks. It's still partially open: a second pool and restaurant were not ready, and one garden-view pool villa's air conditioning could not cope with the room size at full blast. Guests vow to return at full opening.
