“Urso's Madrid perch”
Urso Hotel & Spa is a highly-recommended excellent stay — a compact chic hotel with a cool lobby bar and lovely restaurant, a beautiful large clean room, an amazing ten-of-ten location very close to the Prado, museums, shops and trendy local neighborhoods without the hustle, a Christmas-fairy-tale feel in season, a good excellent breakfast, and wonderful welcoming helpful staff including uniformed front-door staff who took the car from the kerb; five-star quality in the small details. Caveats though: the spa needs booking in advance.
