“Grand Powers' kindness”
Grand Powers Hotel is an excellent boutique stay — a lovely clean room with the cutest small balcony, a great location good for shopping and popping back anytime, always-available water, coffee and tea, a large bathroom with double sinks and a big ample-hot-water shower, and kind friendly staff who made the place — an anniversary pair arriving at eight a.m. got a room to change and shower until theirs was ready; good Paris value for the spot. Caveats though: the room interior is small — two open suitcases leave little floor by the bed — and peak-week stays run dearer.
