“Copacabana boutique, trust issues”

Emiliano Rio is a curated Copacabana boutique a short way from Ipanema — stunning sea views from balconies and an amazing rooftop, a good order-style breakfast, spacious-feeling design to some (though one guest found a 42-metre room cramped by an impractical sofa), and exceptionally kind staff to most. Two serious cautions: a guest alleges money went missing from a wallet left on the desk — use the safe — and the front desk reportedly pushes tickets marked far above the direct cost. Service pace also lagged the tier once: slow water refills and late cleaning.

Rooms: Sea-view rooms; one layout felt impractical.
Service: Kind staff; a theft allegation stands.
Location: Heart of Copacabana, close to Ipanema.
Food: A good made-to-order breakfast is served upstairs.
Facilities: An amazing rooftop with sea views.
Value: Desk-sold tickets reportedly cost far more.
