Gajoen Tokyo is a wonderful stay — simply the best in Tokyo for one guest and worth every penny — excellent design with a top-tier lobby and views, really friendly staff ensuring happiness, and a boss-approved business-trip pick. Caveats though: the room facilities run old with renovations underway, and the mostly-Japanese food offering fewer Western or Chinese options proved hard to adapt to for one guest.
