Verdict: 8.3/10 (Staylist AI score). Guests praise: direct mall connection; chinese breakfast station; suite upgrades. Main complaint: aging rooms.

Staylist AI overview · based on 8 public guest reviews

“Mall-top Doha convenience, aging kit”

JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha sits above the City Center mall — Carrefour downstairs, metro ten minutes, early check-in granted for early flights — with a rich breakfast that even runs a Chinese congee station, hospitable staff, corner-suite upgrades and nice upper-floor views. The honest notes: rooms are older with China-made toiletries, turndown once delivered just a leaf instead of fruit, the gym is small with aging machines and no jacuzzi, and one mixed review asks for better communication and quality control after several issues.

Rooms: Rooms are older; corner-suite upgrades do happen.
Service: Hospitable staff; communication gaps appeared during one stay.
Location: Above City Center mall with Carrefour below.
Food: A rich breakfast including a Chinese station.
Facilities: A small, aging gym without jacuzzi.
