“JW Marina's views, worrying upkeep”
JW Marriott Hotel Marina is a nice Dubai hotel with impressive marina views — Marina Mall access, a very good pool, loved pool parties, an all-inclusive meals option, spacious rooms, friendly staff who allowed entry hours early, and metro/tram access nearby. Serious complaints: a washroom ceiling collapsed mid-night — unthinkable for five stars and dangerous — and all three of one booking's basin drains were broken; service runs with many delays below five-star level, pool staff and vibe disappointed, and the area's all-day congestion makes taxis a chore.
