Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village is a clean comfortable hotel in beautiful surroundings — convenient transport, quiet spacious rooms, a loved lake view, an inviting pool, a comfortable bed, reasonable weekend value, and smiling cheerful helpful lobby staff. Caveats though: the lobby restaurant served terrible food once (a waitress arranged a small discount) and runs freezing inside; pillows were very hard, and weekday rates fluctuate.
