JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge is a drop-dead-stunning family resort — beautiful grounds, multiple pools plus a lazy-river water park (the area's best), incredible but expensive food, plentiful bottled water on request, super clean rooms, and warm staff (trainee Clara Jane did amazing). Notes: connecting rooms cost extra to secure, a bathroom floor and shower could have been cleaner, and an evening golf-cart driver passed a self-parking guest without offering a ride.
