“Sleek new Reston hotel with hiccups”
JW Marriott Reston Station is a beautiful 2025 opening in a restaurant-filled area minutes from IAD, with modern clean rooms, comfortable beds, a lovely gym and an excellent bar that wants more food choices. The newness shows in hiccups: dead listed phone numbers, glitchy check-ins, swapped shower gel and soap, slow hot water, one six-p.m. room still unready, cheaply furnished case goods that broke in room 519, and key-locked elevators that frustrate groups on different floors. Add a nightly parking charge one guest found ridiculous, and rooms lacking bins. Staff, though, are wonderful.
