JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is a quite good upscale stay — amazing fabulous service, lovely spa features, quite spacious rooms with an appreciated illy coffee touch, a highly-recommended executive lounge, and a convenient location next to Rogers Arena, close to Costco and ten minutes from Chinatown though a little out of downtown; guests highly recommend. Caveats though: a dissent felt it overpriced with lax security — outside game-event crowds sat and ran through the lobby — and saw better-value options elsewhere in Vancouver.
