Pendry San Diego is a high-class calming immaculate stay for many — a central location near the convention center with direct first-floor seven-minute access, sea views, two ground-floor pools, a seaside citywalk to the famous statue, one of the nicer hotel gyms plus a spa, a handy text line that fetched an extra bathrobe and towels, a Chinese-speaking desk, and perfectly-working services. Caveats though: a severe dissent reports room 1115 carried a huge pollution smell — a filter and purifier helped only slightly and, too laden with luggage to move, they endured two nights; the rates also run high.
