“Hotel Nakajima's hush”
Hotel JAL City Sapporo Nakajima Park is a nice convenient stay — opposite the park with seasonal greenery out the window for easy morning runs, a quiet-in-the-bustle feel, a Lawson and 7-Eleven downstairs, always-charming staff who answer every question, a willing parking attendant, new clean facilities, a nice if crowded onsen, and in-room TV. Caveats though: the hotel is older, rooms are exceptionally narrow for opening luggage, the pillow underwhelmed, the walk to the liveliest streets passes late-night bars, and parking instructions confused.
