New World Makati Hotel is a wonderful reliable stay — a grand lobby in the heart of Makati opposite the mall and Greenbelt's Hoshino coffee, tight reassuring security, a clean room with good amenities, helpful staff, an excellent service culture, Filipino and Western breakfast options, a residence club whose food selection never tires, and a twenty-fourth-floor order-style breakfast that was tasty if limited; the airport is near. Caveats though: the in-room television was small and blurry for one guest.
