Pousada Beija Flor Centro is a family-run inn with a top location, hosts and breakfast per one guest — a cozy welcoming family atmosphere, excellent cleaning, an impeccable good-condition room, a fantastic dream breakfast, a spot so central guests did almost everything on foot near the covered street, great value, and very attentive gentle people — Dona Teresinha's kind check-in, Karina and Tere's thanks, and aunt Quequé's special care for the baby; guests would rebook a hundred times over. Caveats though: one short note found the warmth lacking.
