“Athens' alva hotel”
Four-to-seven minutes' walk from the metro, Alva Athens Hotel is a small good-value stay: a reasonable rate, a very good bathroom — though economy rooms run small — super friendly excellent service from desk to maid, a fresh breakfast where a smiling cook whips omelettes and a decent one-night base. Cautions though: noise for one guest, no shelves or drawers meaning suitcase living, and a pricey quoted port transfer better replaced by a ride-share.
