“Forte16's split verdict”
Forte16 View & Spa is an apartment-style Florence stay — large clean better-than-expected rooms complete with pots and pans, convenient transport and a walkable route to the centre, robes and slippers for spa visits, a bottle of local wine waiting, a comfortable rooftop terrace, fitness space, a praised breakfast, a little pool children loved, and polite responsive friendly staff. Caveats though: a severe dissent calls it an Airbnb rather than a four-star, flags a hidden outlook, grey-yellow towels that felt unsafe, and a maintenance-area setting.
