Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets is a 2023 island resort reached by the hotel's own yacht — very clean rooms facing endless sea, thoughtful butler service, twenty-four-hour room dining, many included restaurants, bookable activities and fun snorkeling. Most find it above-five-star and great value. Two stays went wrong, though: the Japanese restaurant Sake was unfriendly and poor, a Japanese guest found the prettily plated food rarely to taste and recommends the island's north for the bluest water, and one guest reported a bloodstained duvet, an unwashed hairy replacement, unannounced weather cancellations that cost a day, and dreadful food — calling it not worth the rate.
