“Monti Palace's Colosseum-edge stay”
Monti Palace Hotel is a hygienic, spacious Rome hotel — a modern renovation inside a historic building a kilometre from the station and steps from the Colosseum, a beautiful very clean room, an adequate-plus breakfast served on a breezy rooftop terrace, and super warm available staff; a business traveler called it absolutely amazing. Notes: management replies apologize for a sold-out night that left a walk-in in a Standard and explain the double curtains; rooms run small.
