“Mural-lined palazzo five minutes from the station”
Ca' Bonfadini Historic Experience is a historic Venetian building five to ten minutes' walk from Santa Lucia station — no bridge crossing needed — with a water-bus stop at the door for San Marco, Murano and even direct airport boats. Though compact, the interiors intrigue: rooms are huge, newly renovated and well designed, with frescoed murals a highlight plus smart-home touches and big bathrooms. Staff are very warm and helpful, a welcome drink greets arrivals, and breakfast is rich — the herb scramble earns special mention. Quiet despite the hubbub nearby.
