“Roku's forest calm”
Roku Kyoto, LXR Hotels & Resorts is a wonderful fantastic stay — a natural-view retreat with an elegant quiet atmosphere, spectacular rooms, very attentive warm staff, a liked resort vibe made for chilling without leaving, and a fragrant udon at breakfast; Kinkaku-ji temple is about a fifteen-minute walk. Caveats though: it sits far from Kyoto's centre — about thirty minutes by car — so it suits resort stays over sightseeing sprints.
